Actsil Acid and Alkali resistant materials
Burg refractories also holds the exclusive license from C&H laboratories for Acid and Alkali resistant castable products in South Africa. These materials are used for building up or lining areas with severe acid or alkali problems to protect against the corrosive properties of the acid or alkali. The materials can be used in situ to cast any lining for example bund wall linings or high traffic areas where acid tankers load and unload. Alternatively they can be cast in to precast shapes such as acid pipe supports.
